What Quips does
for your local SEO.

We start with the services you want more inquiries for and the areas your technicians cover. Then we check whether your profile and website give homeowners enough information to choose you.

AI assists with research, checks and drafts. Our marketers review the findings and make the agreed changes, using your team’s knowledge to keep the details right.

Keep your profile useful and accurate.

We review business categories, services, contact details and regular and holiday hours. We prepare photo and profile updates, review requests and replies. Before publishing, we agree which changes need your approval and who will post them.

Build on the website you have.

We improve existing pages or create the service and location pages your plan needs. We check page titles and internal links, look for barriers to Google crawling and indexing the pages, and test contact options on a phone.

Show the business behind the listing.

We use your installation photos, verified qualifications and customer feedback. We also check local directories and manufacturer dealer listings for outdated business details.

Explain what changed and what comes next.

We review search visibility, profile interactions and available inquiry records. We explain what we fixed, what the results show and what we recommend doing next.

Give each HVAC search
a useful answer.

A homeowner with no cooling needs different information from someone comparing replacement systems. We plan pages around those decisions.

“AC repair near me”

AC & furnace repair

We make it easy to find the problems you fix, the systems you service and how to reach you. A homeowner with no heating or cooling should be able to check those details quickly.

What the page needs to explain
  • The systems and repair work you take on
  • Your actual answering hours and service area
  • A clear call or service-request option on mobile

Next step: call about a repair.

“heat pump installation”

Heat pumps & replacements

We explain which systems you install and how an estimate works. Your team recommends equipment after assessing the home.

What the page needs to explain
  • System types and the homes you work on
  • Real installation examples and verified qualifications
  • What happens at an estimate and how to request one

Next step: request an installation estimate.

“furnace maintenance”

Tune-ups & service agreements

We explain what a one-time tune-up includes and how it differs from your service agreement. As the season changes, we check availability and offer details with your team.

What the page needs to explain
  • What the visit or agreement includes and excludes
  • Any confirmed price, terms and scheduling conditions
  • How to request a visit or ask about membership

Next step: book a tune-up or ask about a service agreement.

Related searches can share one page; a separate page makes sense when a service needs its own explanation.

Local SEO for the
areas you serve.

We confirm where your technicians work and whether customers visit your business location. Listing town names alone tells homeowners little about the work you do there.

A real reason for every location page.

We build location pages around the services you provide there and real projects. When there isn’t enough local detail for a separate page, we improve your existing service pages instead of repeating the same copy under another city name.

Show the right address and service area.

A service-area business that does not receive customers at its address should hide that address on its profile. We check eligibility before suggesting additional profiles or showing a location publicly.

Google’s business representation guidelines
Plan around the places you serve.
Main service area
Keep your website and eligible profile consistent about services, hours and contact details.
Nearby town with real project history
A location page can show the work you do there, supported by coverage details and project photos shared with permission.
Town outside your coverage
Don’t present it as an area you serve just to capture another search.
Google’s local results depend on relevance, distance and prominence; a service-area setting is not a guaranteed ranking radius.

Suppose you install heat pumps, but your website only mentions them in a general list of services. Here’s how we would work through that gap.

The starting point

“We also install heat pumps.”

One line on a general service page leaves a homeowner guessing. Do you install ductless systems? Replace an existing unit? Visit their town?

We check your pages and the searches recorded in Search Console, then confirm the missing service details with your team. Few recorded searches do not necessarily mean low demand.

Heat pump installation

The questions this page should answer.

  1. 01
    Systems you install

Ducted or ductless, equipment you work with and the properties you serve.

  2. 02
    What happens at an estimate

What your team checks, how you explain the options and what the homeowner receives.

  3. 03
    A real installation

Your project photos and what the installation involved, shared with permission and without private customer details.

A clear way to request an estimate
Connect it

We link from related heating and cooling pages and check that your Business Profile and website describe the same services.

Verify it

We check for barriers to crawling and indexing, confirm links work and test the contact form on a phone.

Watch the response

We monitor the searches that bring people to the page and the estimate inquiries you receive. Seasonal demand and other campaigns help put those changes in context.

Use our service-page checklist to review your current pages.

A profile that reflects
your HVAC business.

An outdated profile can send someone to the wrong number or leave them expecting a service you don’t offer. We check the details with your office.

We check that the profile uses your real business name and the fewest specific categories needed to describe the business. Individual services belong in the services section, not in your business name.

Google’s guidance on getting reviews

Show when customers can reach you.

We confirm regular and holiday hours with your office, including what happens after hours. Taking messages overnight should not be presented as having a technician available for emergency repairs.

Check where each link takes a homeowner.

The website link should open the right business or location page. Where appointment links are available, homeowners should be able to complete the booking described, for the right location. We test those links on a phone. Tracking labels help identify website visits from the profile when analytics can record them.

Ask for honest feedback.

We prepare requests for honest reviews after real customer experiences, without incentives or selecting only the happiest customers. We also draft replies for the person responsible for approving them.

More visibility is a start.
Which inquiries become work?

We review website search performance and Business Profile activity alongside the records your office can provide. That lets us compare how people find you with the calls and bookings your office records.

If you use ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro or another system, we first check which records can be connected or shared. Consent, tracking and matching inquiries to jobs affect what we can trace back to SEO. If the records don’t establish a job’s source, we leave it unknown.

When comparing periods, we account for heating and cooling seasons, changes in coverage and paid campaigns. A busy week by itself does not prove an SEO improvement worked.

Keep the measures separate.

Website visibility
Search Console impressions and clicks show how your website appears in Google Search.
Profile activity
Profile “Calls” counts call-button clicks, not answered calls. Profile performance can include organic and Google Ads activity.
Qualified inquiries
Confirm service, equipment, address and availability using actual call or inquiry records.
Booked and completed jobs
Use office or CRM records to distinguish an estimate request, a booking and completed work.

profile and priorities.

Tell us where you work, which jobs you want more of and what your current marketing is doing.

Useful things to bring

  • Your website and Google Business Profile.
  • Services, equipment and the areas your technicians cover.
  • Who manages your marketing now and which accounts you can access.
  • Search, inquiry or job reports you already have.
  1. See whether we’re a fit.

We discuss your business, current visibility and priorities. If you need immediate demand, we can also discuss how HVAC Google Ads fits alongside the longer-term work.

  2. Agree on the work and who handles it.

We set out profile work, page improvements, technical fixes, reporting, fees and approvals before work starts. A website rebuild, new location pages or CRM setup is not automatically included.

  3. Choose the first improvements.

Once you grant access, we record your current search performance and identify the first fixes. Your team confirms business details and supplies the photos and job information we need.

HVAC SEO questions.

How much do HVAC SEO services cost?

Pricing depends on how many locations you have and the work your website and profile need. We discuss that with you before preparing a proposal, which explains the fees, included work and any separately priced projects.

How long does HVAC local SEO take?

There is no fixed timetable. We can check a technical fix once it’s live. It takes longer to see whether search visibility and inquiries improve. Your starting point, competition and seasonality affect that timing; we agree what to measure and report what changes.

Can you guarantee a top-three Google Maps ranking?

No. Google controls local results, which vary by the search and the searcher’s location. Its local ranking guidance describes relevance, distance and prominence. A wider service-area setting does not guarantee visibility across that area.

Do we need a new website or a page for every town?

We review your existing site first. You may only need to improve current pages. New service or town pages should answer questions those pages don’t cover, using details and projects from your business.

Can you help if our profile is unverified or suspended?

We start by checking access, business details and the status shown by Google. Google may ask you for documents or other evidence to verify or reinstate the profile. We agree how we can help, but Google decides whether and when to approve it.

Is local SEO the same as Google Ads or LSA?

No. Local SEO works on unpaid discovery through your website and eligible Business Profile. Google Ads and Local Services Ads are paid services with separate setup, costs and requirements. When reporting, we separate paid and organic activity where the records allow and identify anything we can’t separate or trace to a source.
