Google Ads for moving companies.
Local moves. Longer routes.

Quips manages Google Search campaigns around the moves your crews can take. We connect keywords, ads and quote pages, then use available estimate and booking records to improve where the budget goes. Landing-page and tracking work are agreed in your scope.

How Quips runs
your moving company Google Ads.

AI helps analyze search activity and prepare improvements. Our marketers review the findings and carry out agreed changes. Your team confirms routes, answers inquiries and records what happened after the estimate.

  1. Set the service and route boundaries.

We review account access, business details, verification requirements and current campaigns. Together we identify the move types, pickup areas and destinations you accept, plus work you do not want.

Your crew capacity and booking window help set priorities. We check the pages and tracking before agreeing launch readiness.

  2. Connect the search to a useful request.

We choose keywords, match types, location settings and ad messages for your services. We check call-answering hours, landing-page relevance, form routing and conversion goals.

A local apartment move and a long-distance estimate should not arrive at an unexplained generic quote form. The page needs to tell the customer what happens next.

  3. Use inquiry feedback to improve targeting.

We review available search terms alongside the requests your office receives. If full-service campaigns attract loading-only inquiries, we inspect the searches, clarify the offer and test focused exclusions.

Google does not expose every query. We use the available search terms and your feedback together. See our search-term review guide.

  4. Adjust for bookings, costs and open dates.

We review bids, budgets and messages against qualified requests and matched booking outcomes. When your calendar changes, we discuss where to reduce or redirect spend.

Move dates, inquiry dates and booking dates can be weeks apart. We account for that delay when reviewing recent performance, and agree approvals and reporting cadence before starting.

A move across town.
A longer route. Help loading.

A family moving across town needs a different message from someone booking a long-distance move or loading help. The campaign should make the service clear before they call.

Local & apartment moves

Find the move behind the city name.

Build local messaging around the pickup areas you serve and the moves you accept. An apartment inquiry may need stairs, elevator reservations or a smaller crew—not just a truck.

Review: “free moving estimate”

“Free” does not automatically mean a poor lead. If you offer free estimates, check the actual request before excluding the term.

Keep local demand visible so a longer-route campaign does not consume its budget.

Planning a local apartment move?

Share your pickup, destination and move date. Our team will check the details and explain the next step.

Request a moving estimate
After the click
A local-move page asks for both ZIP codes, the move date, size and access details. It explains how the estimate is prepared.
What counts as progress
A request within your coverage, with a workable date and move size. A submitted form alone does not confirm those details.

Long-distance moves

Check both ends of the route.

Only advertise routes and move types you can fulfill. Make pickup and destination coverage clear, then ask which dates can flex. A route that fits geographically still has to fit your schedule.

Review: a destination-city search

Before excluding it, check where the move starts and ends. A destination search can fit your routes even when the searcher is elsewhere.

Review route fit and booking lead time before increasing spend.

Moving farther from home?

Tell us where your move starts and ends. Check route coverage and discuss your estimate with our team.

Discuss your long-distance move
After the click
A long-distance page explains supported origins and destinations, the estimating process and how your team confirms timing.
What counts as progress
A suitable route and load, followed by an estimate your team can fulfill. Keep an accepted booking separate from a completed move.

Loading & labor-only moves

Sell the help you actually provide.

If you offer loading, unloading or packing without a truck, make that distinction explicit. If you only sell full-service moves, clarify that offer and review requests for labor alone.

Review: “rental truck”

A truck-rental search may be unsuitable. A request for help loading a rental truck can be a good labor-only inquiry. Avoid excluding both with one broad negative.

Give labor-only work a separate budget only when priorities and demand justify it.

Need help loading your truck?

Tell us what needs moving, where and when. Ask about loading help and available crew time.

Ask about moving labor
After the click
A labor-only page states what your crew provides, what the customer supplies and the information needed to estimate the work.
What counts as progress
The requested help, date, location and crew requirement fit your service. Track bookings and completed work separately.

Illustrative searches and ad concepts, not customer results or final Google ad assets. Separate campaigns need a reason: budget control, sufficient volume or different job priorities.

Two ZIP codes.
One useful quote request.

A city name in a search does not tell you where the customer is moving from. The landing page helps your estimator get the missing details.

Match the page to the move.
Local, long-distance and labor-only ads should explain the service they lead to. We write around your actual pickup areas, supported destinations and estimating process. Your team supplies real photos, business details and any required credentials.
Ask enough to make the next call useful.
Pickup and destination, requested date, flexibility, move size and access help your office qualify the request. We balance these details with a clear mobile call or form path, then check routing and confirmation messages.
Make the promise clear.
A request is not a reserved truck or a confirmed price. The page explains how your team checks availability and prepares an estimate. We can improve a suitable existing page or scope a dedicated one; ongoing changes depend on the agreed work and available evidence.

Illustrative page, not a live quote form or customer result.

A request your estimator can use. Your office confirms the details, prepares the estimate and books the move.

An estimate sent.
A move still to earn.

A quote request can become a booking, a cancellation or a move outside your coverage. Counting them all as equal leads hides the difference.

Use the records your office can maintain.

We check what your moving CRM or estimating system records, how those records can be matched, and whether your setup supports a connection or needs an agreed export.

Where setup, consent and matching allow, offline conversion measurement can return qualified-lead or later outcomes to Google Ads. We agree which goals should guide bidding, leave unmatched records unattributed and avoid treating several stages of the same move as separate wins.

Follow a moving inquiry.

  1. Requested route, date & service

Record the source when available, pickup, destination, move date and requested help. Keep duplicate quote requests tied to the same opportunity.

  2. Estimate & accepted booking

Record whether an estimate was sent and accepted. Keep lost quotes, cancellations and rescheduled dates visible, with reasons where known.

  3. Completed move & collected value

Record work actually completed and value where available. An accepted estimate is not yet a completed or paid move.

Find where the opportunity is lost. If suitable requests arrive but few estimates become bookings, review response time, availability and lost-quote reasons with your office before assuming the keyword is wrong.

Illustrative workflow, not customer results. Reporting depends on available records and matching.

Budget for the calendar
you need to fill.

Work back from what a completed move contributes after crew costs, truck time, fuel and other direct costs. Local jobs, longer routes and labor-only work can support different acquisition costs.

We compare campaign spend with qualified requests, estimate-to-booking rates and completed moves where records allow. We review brand searches separately from new service demand. A lower cost per lead is not an improvement if more requests fall outside your routes or available dates. Quips fees and Google ad spend are separate.

What to bring to the conversation

  • Your move types, pickup areas, destinations and any services you do not offer.
  • Your crew and truck capacity, open dates and how far ahead customers book.
  • Your website, current ad setup and the hours someone answers inquiries.
  • Your budget and available estimates, bookings, cancellations and completed-move records.

Bring what you have. We’ll discuss any gaps.

  1. Talk through the opportunity.

We discuss your priorities, current marketing and tools, then whether Google Ads management is a good fit and what needs a closer look.

  2. Agree the work and responsibilities.

Before work begins, the scope sets out deliverables, access, approvals, communication, ownership and fees. We agree the starting ad spend separately, along with any landing-page or tracking setup work.

  3. Provide access. Confirm the starting point.

We check verification, account and tracking requirements before agreeing launch readiness. Your office confirms inquiry handling, estimating responsibilities and the records it can supply.

Start with the service you need. A full website rebuild is not a requirement.

Moving company PPC questions.

How much should a moving company spend on Google Ads?

Start with the moves you want, what they contribute after direct costs, and how many additional jobs you can handle. Search demand and click costs vary by market and service. We agree a starting budget and review it against qualified requests and bookings; there is no single spend level that suits every mover.

Should local and long-distance moves have separate campaigns?

When they need separate budgets, coverage or priorities, that can help. It is not a rule to split every service. Low-volume accounts can become harder to evaluate if divided too far. We choose the structure around demand, your routes and the decisions you need to make.

Can campaigns follow our available moving dates?

Your team shares capacity and booking changes so we can discuss budget and message adjustments. That does not automatically sync ads with your calendar or reserve a crew. Your office confirms availability with each customer.

Is this the same as Local Services Ads?

No. This service page covers Google Search campaigns built around keywords, ads and landing pages. Local Services Ads are a separate product with their own eligibility and setup requirements. We can discuss which services belong in your plan.
